In January-June 2014, Aktau International Sea Commercial Port (Kazakhstan) handled over 5,359,000 t of cargo, the company says in its press release.
Transshipment of crude and oil products totaled 3,126,000 t, dry cargo – 2,233,000 t including 565,000 t of metal goods, 238,000 t of other goods and 475,000 t of grain. The volume of cargo carried by ferries reached 955,000 t.
From the beginning of 2014, 866 vessels called at the port.
In June, 2014, the company handled 689,000 t of cargo including 284,000 t of oil cargo; 108,000 t of metal goods; 158,000 t of cargo carried by ferries; 91,000 t of grain and 48,000 t of other cargoes.

The Republican State Enterprise "Aktau International Sea Commercial Port" operates in the port of Aktau situated on the eastern coast of the Caspian sea, the only sea port of the Republic of Kazakhstan aimed for international shipping of different dry cargos, crude oil and oil products. In 2013, the company handled 10.08 mln t of cargo.
