NCSP Group's six-month box throughput grows 9.9% to 353,000 TEUs
Container traffic at the terminals of Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP Group) in January-June 2014 increased by 9.9% compared with the same period a year earlier, to 353,000 TEUs, the Group said in a news release.
Container tonnage was growing faster and for the reporting period amounted to 2,868,000 tonnes, or a 14.7% gain on 1H2013 figures.
NCSP Group is the largest Russian port operator in terms of cargo volumes. In 2013 the Group's total throughput hit the mark of 141 million tonnes. NCSP Group comprises PJSC NCSP, PJSC NCSP Fleet, OJSC Novoroslesexport, OJSC Novorossiysk Shipyard, PJSC Novorossiysk Grain Terminal, OJSC IPP, LLC Baltic Stevedoring Company, LLC Primorsk Trade Port, CJSC SFP, LLC Novorossiysk Fuel Oil Terminal.
