St. Petersuburg port Marine Façade increases seven-month passenger traffic by 9.28% to 266,182 people

The number of passengers that visited the pier of Passenger Port St. Petersburg "Marine Façade" between January 1 and July 15 rose 9.28% from a year earlier and totaled 266,182 people, the "Marine Facade" said in a press release.

During the reporting period the passenger port received 135 cruise ships. The St. Petersburg passenger port expects arrivals of 111 more vessels with 213,198 passengers on board by the end of this cruising season

JSC Passenger Port of St. Petersburg "Marine Façade" is in the ownership of the city of St. Petersburg and is the largest passenger seaport in Russia. Construction of Marine Façade began in 2006. The port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships of up to 311 m in length with a draft of up to 9 m. The length and depth of new access channels are 10 km and 11 m, accordingly. The port operates seven piers. The quay wall length is 2,171.06 m.
