Throughput of Ukraine’s river ports up 61.5% to 1.85 mln t in HI’14

In January-June 2014, river ports of Ukraine handled 1.85 mln t of cargo (+61.5%, year-on-year), says press center of State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.

In the reported period, transshipment of import cargoes fell by 22.7% to 158,700 t, transshipment of export cargoes increased by 109.3% to 988,100 t.

According to State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, seaports and river ports of Ukraine (excluding Crimea and Sevastopol) handled 69.25 mln t of cargo.
