Transportation of diesel fuel to port Primorsk resumed
Transportation of diesel fuel by main product pipeline Vtorovo-Primorsk has been resumed. On July 22, oil product emerged at the 942nd kilometer of main product pipeline Vtorovo-Primorsk. According to Balttransnefteprodukt LLC, the incident had been caused by criminal tapping of the pipeline, the statement says. With the prompt response of the company emergency team, the leak is localized and the incident causes no danger for people. Supply of export oil products to port Primorsk was resumed on July 22, 2014, by 17.00 Moscow time.
Recovery operations are in progress at the incident site. They involve 6 units of equipment and 25 members of the emergency response team of Balttransnefteprodukt LLC.
