Hapag-Lloyd will implement a fee of €50 per TEU for false empty container return to depots in Germany, effective October 1, 2014, the shipping company said in a press release.
The fee (RHD) applies in case a container is returned to a different depot than previously announced in the confirmation received from the Customer Service Import department respectively without prior agreement of Hapag-Lloyd.
Hapag-Lloyd is a leading global liner shipping company.
