RG Government introduces unified seaports administrations as federal government bodies

RG Government decrees that administrative power authorization in the sphere of state administration of sea fishing ports, as specified by federal laws and other regulations of RF, should be the competence of seaports administrations being federal government bodies, government press center reports according to PRIME-TASS. According to Decree N773 About Improvement of State Administration of Sea Fishing Ports dated December 16, existing administrations of seaports should be reorganized.

Federal Fishing Agency and Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport are given 3 months to specify federal property of state fishing port administrations to be transferred administrations of seaports in the course of reorganization as well as federal property to be transferred to organizations subordinate to Federal Fishing Agency.

Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport is given 3 months to introduce necessary amendments into constitutive documents of reorganized federal government bodies. The ministries of Transport and Agriculture are given 3 months to prepare proposals on amendments into regulative documents relating to the functions of Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport and Federal Fishing Agency on providing state services in sea fishing ports.
