Within the context of its ANZ service realignments, Maersk Line is understood to inject ships averaging 4,000 teu on its North East Asia-East Australia service (AU-1), currently ensured with 2,800 teu ships. Newcomers include ships of the 'Albatros' class displaced from the 'Oceania' pendulum M200) as well as other spare ships. The North East Asia-East Australia service is also used by MSC (which brands it 'Wallaby') within the frame of a wider agreement involving a Central Asia-Australia loop operated by MSC with Maersk as co-loader (AU-2 / Panda).
