New refrigerator ground opened at container terminal of Odessa Commercial Seaport

New refrigerator ground has been opened at container terminal of Odessa Commercial Seaport (Ukraine), misto.odessa.ua reports. The ground was built and equipped to the cost of Hamburg Port Consulting – Ukraine. The company started development of project documentation at the beginning of the year. The construction was started in June. LenmorNIIproject and Actomontazh participated in construction. The project is said to be costing almost $2.5 million.  Refrigerator ground of a container terminal occupies 0.52 hectares. Transformer substation ensures simultaneous connection of 340 refrigerated containers. It is further planned to enlarge the ground by 50%, to 600 connections.
