Deputy PM unveils Russia's WTO accession timeframe

Talks on Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) will be completed by mid-2007, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov said at a 'government hour' meeting at the State Duma today. The WTO accession process is nearing completion, he stated, underlining that the Russian delegation had managed to defend the interests of Russian manufacturers and consumers.
