According to an exclusive sales agreement, Chapman Freeborn’s Budapest office will perform the cargo charter desk function for small cargo and air taxi operator, Beszitop Ltd. Beszitop operates a Cessna 402 for both cargo and passenger operations. It has a cargo payload of 600 kg, or three Europallets, and has a range of up to five hours depending on the conditions. Beszitop is also expecting a second aircraft – a Cessna 421 - in the New Year, which Chapman Freeborn will be selling.
Established in 1973, Chapman Freeborn is the largest air charter broker in the world, accounting for more than 50% of the global market for cargo charter operations. The company provides wet lease, ACMI and replacement aircraft for some of the world’s largest airlines, as well as General Sales Agency (GSA), Station Management and Ground Handling Services. Chapman Freeborn has 37 offices in a total of 23 countries worldwide. In June 2006, the company opened new chartering offices in Istanbul, Turkey and Hong Kong, and plans to open an office in Canada soon.
