Council of Tallinna Sadam (port of Tallinn, Estonia) has approved the company’s budget for 2007. $ 140 mln will be invested in the port in 2007 according to the project, Sven Ratassepp, the port’s PR manager said according to RZD-Partner. Almost $83 mln will be invested in the ports projects; $ 45 mln will be invested in the port’s infrastructure. $36.7 mln will be invested from the EU funds. New berth for passenger vessels is planned to be built in the port of Vanasadam. Port of Muuga, will get $ 27 mln in four – five years mostly for harbor expansion in the port’s eastern part. Southern port in the town of Paldiski will get $5.4 million within five years. It is to be spent for construction of the berth No8 and extension of the berth No6.
