Former leaders of Vostochny Port’s Trade Union to serve time in standard regime colony

On December 15, 2014, Nakhodka City Court brought in the verdict of guilty in respect of Leonid Tikhonov, Chairman of OJSC Vostochny Port’s dockside workers trade union cell, and Natalja Bondareva, Chief Accountant of the Company’s trade union organization.

According to the press center of Vostochny Port OJSC, the Chairman and the Chief Accountant of the trade union organization have been accused of large scale embezzlement by a person through his official position (Part 3 Article 160 Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
 
Under the sentence, Leonid Tikhonov and Natalja Bondareva are to serve 3.5 years and 1 year and 2 months respectively in standard regime penal colonies.
