Far Eastern Shipping has launched a dedicated shipping and logistics operation for South Korean vehicle manufacturer Kia Motors to transport car components to the IzhAvto assembly plant at Izhevsk in western Russia, writes Keith Wallis in Hong Kong .
It is expected to handle about 300 feu a week to enable the IzhAvto plant to ramp up production of the Kia Spectra saloon car to 40,000 vehicles next year.
