Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping has held ceremonial turn-out of young specialists from its Marine Academy, the University’s press center says.
The task of the Marine Academy is to train high class specialists for marine and river transport.
The diplomas were given to the graduates of the Academy’s three faculties – Arctic, Navigation and Communication, and Marine Power Engineering.
The graduates were greeted by the University Rector S.O.Baryshnikov, Marine Academy Director A.P.Gorobtsov, Harbour Master of Big Port St. Petersburg A.B.Volkov, Director General of Transas CJSC I.B.Gapeshko, deputy Director of Rosmorport’s North West Basin Branch A.L.Strelnikov, HR-Director of North-Western Shipping Company A.V.Martynov.
The ceremony was crowned by a gala concert.
