Batumi Oil Terminal is the first foreign oil transport asset of Kazakhstan with a direct access to the world ocean. It is the key element of trans-Caucasus oil transport corridor. Its customers include largest oil companies of the world including ExxonMobil, Chevron and BP. Within last 7 years BOT increased transshipment of oil and oil products nearly four times and plans to load a record 12 million tons from Batumi in 2006.

On Friday KazTransGaz acquired 50-% of Naftrans Capital Partners, owner of Batumi Oil Terminal. The document was signed by the Directors of KazTransGaz, Naftrans LTD Naftrans and Capital Partners.
