NCSP to perform dredging up to 18-19 m at its dry bulk terminal under investment programme through 2020
Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port OJSC will perform dredging operations within the framework of its investment programme through 2020, IAA PortNews journalist cites NCSP Director General Sultan Batov as saying today at YugTrans Conference in Gelendzhik.
According to him, dredging operations are to be performed at all berths of the port to the average draught of 15 meters and to the draught of 18-19 meters at its dry bulk terminal. Today, many vessels cannot come to NCSP terminals when fully loaded and have to be partly unloaded in Turkey.
According to earlier reports, investment programme of NCSP provides for the construction of new terminal facilities allowing for cargo throughput increase from 117 mln t to 137 mln t by 2020.
