Kalija parks of Ventspils port transshipped 3.216 million tons of potassium salt in 11M06

Cargo turnover of Kalija parks (terminal of Ventspils port transshipping potassium salt) totaled 3.216 million tons in January-November 2006 (-30% against year-on-year result), RZD-Partner reports.  In the first half of the year the terminal handled 1.373 million tons while in the five month of the second half-year – 1.843 million tons. The majority of this volume (about 80%) came from Byelorussia. According to representatives of Kalija parks, in 2005 KP handled 5.1 million tons of cargo (+0.55 million tons or against 2004).
