Atomflot forecasts transportation of 2 mln t of cargo to port Sabetta in 2015

Transportation of cargo to port Sabetta (Yamal) is forecasted to make about 2 mln t in 2015, IAA PortNews cites Vladimir Arutyunyan, Head of Fleet Operations Development Department at FSUE Atomflot, as saying at the 5^th International Conference “Arctic Logistics”. 

According to Nikolai Monko, Deputy Head of FSI Northern Sea Route Administration, cargo transportation to port Sabetta by the Northern Sea Route totaled 1.13 mln t in 2014.

The port is being used for the delivery of cargoes needed for construction of a plant under Yamal LNG project.
