Loading of Oktyabrskaya Railway totals 8.8 million tons in 11M06

Daily loading of Oktyabrskaya Railway totaled 300.3 thou tons in the forth quarter of 2006 (+101.8% against plan), ORW’s PR service reports. In the 11-month period Oktyabrskaya Railway loaded 8.8 million tons of cargo, which is 44 thou tons more compared to the similar period of the previous year. The highest growth was demonstrated in loading of sugar (203.9%), coal (162.5%), grain (154.2%), cars (127.1%), non-ferrous ore (108.2%), ferrous ore (105%), oil (2.4%) and a number of other cargoes.  Loading of the 1st class cargo (mineral resources, construction materials, timber etc.) grew to 59.3 million tons (+1.6 million tons or +102.9% against year-on-year result). Loading of containerized cargo grew to 105.3 %.
