Coal exports via Rosterminalugol terminal up 16% to 5.24 mln t in Jan-Apr’15
In January-April 2015, Rosterminalugol OJSC (Ust-Luga, Leningrad region) handled 5.24 mln t of cargo (+16%, year-on-year), the terminal’s press release says.
In April Rosterminalugol handled 1,390,145.792 t of coal (23 vessels). Loading record per vessel – 77,031.470 t onto M/V Nord Pluto (44 hours). Maximum loading performance in April – 51,509 per shift (12 hours).
In April Rosterminalugol unloaded 20,546 rolling stock units (+10 %, year-on-year). Unloading record in April - 443 wagons per shift and 818 wagons per day.
JSC Rosterminalugol was established in 1996 to build and operate the coal terminal at Port of Ust-Luga. The Company specializes in loading / unloading operations, freight forwarding services, building and maintenance of facilities at the coal terminal located in the Ust-Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland. The terminal has two berths of total length of 540 meters with depth of 14 meters. The terminal is able now to accommodate vessels of up to 240 m in length and 32 m in breadth. In 2014, coal exports via the terminal rose 5%, year-on-year, to 15.45 mln t.
