In January-April 2015, port Taganrog handled 948,900 t of different cargoes (+7.2%, year-on-year), IAA PortNews learnt at the Harbour Master’s office of the port.
Transshipment of oil products fell by 10% to 385,500 t while coal transshipment increased by 56.5% to 198,700 t, grain – up 19.7% to 171,200, ferrous metal – up 28.5% to 149,900 t.
In the reported period, exports fell by 34.3% to 555,400 t, imports – by 56.4% to 17,300 t. Transshipment of coastal trade cargo totaled 368,900 t (no coastal trade cargo was handled in January-April 2014).
In January-April 2015, the port authorities registered 275 incoming and 281 outgoing vessels against 265 incoming and 275 outgoing vessels a year ago.
