In January-May 2015, Russian Railways loaded 491.6 mln t of cargo (-1.5%, year-on-year), the company’s press center says.
In the reported period, Russian Railways loaded 131.5 mln t (+4.1%, year-on-year); 4.7 mln t of coke (-1.4%); 106.8 mln of crude and oil products (-0.7%); 45.3 mln t of iron and manganese ore (+1.8%); 30.5 mln t of ferrous metal (+3.9%); 5.8 mln t of ferrous metal scrap (+3.6%); 21.3 mln t of chemical and mineral fertilizers (+0.3%); 10.4 mln t of cement (-14.2%); 17.1 mln t of timber (+1.5%); 6.8 mln t of grain (+9.7%); 45.4 mln t of construction materials (-20.4%); 8.3 mln t of non-ferrous ore and raw sulphur (+3.4%); 10.5 mln t of chemicals and soda (-4%); 13.5 mln t of industrial raw materials and molding materials (-2.8%).
In the reported period, the company’s cargo turnover totaled 938.3 bln tarrif t-km (-0.4%). Cargo turnover including empty wagon run declined by 0.9% to 1206.8 bln t-km.
In May 2015, Russian Railways loaded 99.9 mln t of cargo (-3.2%).
The company’s cargo turnover decreased by 1.1%, year-on-year to 189.6 bln tarrif t-km. Cargo turnover including empty wagon run fell by 1.8% to 243.5 bln t-km.
