In January-May 2015, port Taganrog handled 111,800 t of different cargoes (+7.2%, year-on-year), IAA PortNews learnt at the Harbour Master’s office of the port.
Transshipment of oil products fell by 7% to 428,400 t while coal transshipment increased by 45.5% to 248,500 t, grain – up 22.1% to 189,700 t, ferrous metal – up 19.2% to 191,000 t.
In the reported period, exports fell by 29.9% to 681,100 t, imports – 2.5 times to 23,400 t. Transshipment of coastal trade cargo totaled 400,000 t (up 85.1 times year-on-year).
In January-May 2015, the port authorities registered 335 incoming and 341 outgoing vessels against 337 incoming and 347 outgoing vessels a year ago.
