USC to supply components under NOVATEK’s Kola Shipyard project (photo)
United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC OJSC) is willing to support the project of NOVATEK on establishment of the center for construction of superlarge marine facilities in the Murmansk Region - Kolskaya Verf (Kola Shipyard) with the supply of metal structures and other components for future floating LNG plants, IAA PortNews journalist cites USC President Aleksey Rakhmanov as saying yesterday at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2015).
“We know about the plan of NOVATEK to implement this project and we are ready to cooperate. This isn’t about our partnership in the project. Yet, we are ready to secure orders for components at our shipyards. . I am sure, the cooperation will let this project bring positive effect for both the Murmansk Region and many shipbuilding companies of the North West region,” Aleksey Rakhmanov said.
RF Government Order on establishment of the center for construction of superlarge marine facilities in the Murmansk Region was issued on June 17, 2015.
