Incotec Cargo completes delivery of power equipment from Mexico to Ecuador (photo)
Under the contract with INTER RAO – Export LLC, Incotec Cargo has delivered power equipment with the total weight of 611 freight tons for Termogas Machala TPP modernization and expansion. According to the company’s press center, the operation lasted from April till June 2015.
Incotec Cargo has provided full range of services including transportation, customs clearance and insurance of cargo.
Three sets of diverters and their components were carried in 15 containers including 12 special 40-ft Open Top containers and three 20-ft Dry Van containers. Empty containers had been delivered to the shipper’s depots in Monterrey (Mexico) for loading and fixing.
The laden containers were then delivered to the terminal of Manzanillo Port (Mexico). Upon completion of surveying inspection the certificates confirming secure loading of containers were obtained. With customs procedures completed the containers were loaded onto Cap Pasley bound for port Guayaquil (Ecuador).
INTER RAO – Export LLC (100% subsidiary of Inter RAO OJSC) and CELEC (state-owned power company of Ecuador) earlier signed a contract Termogas Machala TPP modernization to a combined cycle power plant (300 MW) in the Republic of Ecuador.
