Hapag-Lloyd announces rate restoration on North East Asia - Australia service

Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for all cargo and all container types from North East Asia to Australia, effective September 1, 2015, the shipping company said in a press release. North East Asia comprises Korea, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The rates will be as follows: $ 300 per TEU.

Hapag-Lloyd is a leading global liner shipping company. Hapag-Lloyd AG emerged on September 1st, 1970 from the amalgamation of the two shipping companies Hamburg-Amerikanische Packetfahrt-Actien-Gesellschaft (Hapag / Hamburg-American Line) and North German Lloyd (NDL).
