In January-July 2015, the port of Yeisk handled 1,770,400 t (-4.4%, year-on-year), Harbour Master of port Yeisk Sergei Grechkin told IAA PortNews.
Grain transshipment increased by 20.4% to 713,000 t, coal — by 6.4% to 446,600 t, oil products – by 53.1% to 112,500 t.
Exports gained 4.1% to 1,574,4000 t, imports plunged 2.9 times to 75,400 t, transit down 34.8% to 56,100 t, transshipment of coastal trade cargo – up 88.6% to 64,500 t.
Bunker sales at the port totaled 12,800 t (374 operations) and 10,800 t (352 operations) in January-July 2014.
In the reported period, the port authorities registered 485 incoming and 492 outgoing vessels against 504 incoming and 513 outgoing vessels a year ago.
The sea port of Yeisk located in the Krasnodar Territory in the southwestern part of Taganrog Bay of the Azov Sea. Currently, the port has 12 cargo berths and one passenger berth with two oil terminals completed recently. The port is accessible to ships with a draft of 4.5 m and length of 150 m.
