A globalizing shipbuilding industry in India encourages DMS to sign contract with agent
International interest in Indian shipbuilding has raised quality demands and the need for industry experts in India. Therefore, Danish Marine System (DMS), a Danish supplier of self-levelling cement and sound reduction floors, has recently signed a contract with an Indian agent to accommodate the growing industry, Danish Marine Group said
“The Indian ship building market is growing rapidly, and they are building both governmental ships, ferries and oilrigs. We also see shipyards signing contracts with global companies, which means that they are negotiating the future for the Indian ship building industry, and it looks good,” Lars Moeller, Export Manager at Danish Marine System, says.
Global orders, however, also mean higher requirements to comfort and safety onboard the ships.
Danish Marine System has several years of experience from Asian markets. DMS has offices and is establishing storage facilities in China, Singapore and the Philippines. Danish Marine System also plans to build a stock in India once the first orders start settling in.
Danish Marine System A/S (DMS) is a Danish owned limited company, which mainly operates within the Marine industry worldwide. The company provides a complete range of marine deck coverings, sound reducing and vibration damping systems, A60 fire rate systems, Anti-skid systems, etc.
Danish Marine Group is the shortcut to 163 Danish companies who are world-class suppliers within the marine industry. At INMEX-SMM India 2015, five of these companies are presenting their newest products and services at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, stand number C11.
