In January-September 2015, seaport of Azov handled 7,142,000 t of different cargo (-25%, year-on-year), the port Harbour Master Vladimir Bragin told IAA PortNews.
In the reported period, transshipment of grain fell by 2.9% to 3,861,000 t, oil products – by 46.4% to 2,418,000 t while coal transshipment increased by 18% to 395,000 t.
The number of incoming/outgoing ships fell from 3,760/3,769 in January-September 2014 to 3,001/3,018 in January-September 2015.
The port’s throughput excluding transit increased by 17.2%, year-on-year to 895,000 t in September and fell by 6.5% to 4,759,000 t in 9M’15, Vladimir Bragin said. The Harbour Master attributes the decrease to reduction of oil products transit from inland water ways
