The Caspian Flotilla ship detachment, composed of small-sized missile ships Grad Sviyazhsk, Uglich and Veliky Ustyug, continues to perform the training mission in the Caspian Sea, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
During the 7-day cruise, the small-sized missile ships have travelled about 300 nautical miles, the crews went through more than 30 drills, including damage control, joint maneuvering with different formations – line of bearing, wake, break and also the board to board technique of POL reception from the fuel tanker.
Special attention was paid to the joint naval drill, which involved detachment’s actions in case of an NBC attack.
By the end of the combat duty the Grad Sviyazhsk, Uglich and Veliky Ustyug ships will have traveled about 2 thousand nautical miles, checked their seamen’s training and readiness for task performance.
