Additional measures of Customs Road Map to improve transport situation at Russian seaports

RF Government has supplemented the Road Map to Improve Customs Administration with a package of measures aimed at improvement of transport situation at seaports, RF Government’s press center says.

The document elaborated by the Ministry for Economic Development, was signed on December 12, 2015.

The list 21 activities includes introduction of one-stop mechanism and e-document management for border, customs and other types of control at checkpoints.

They also provide for reduction in the number of documents, optimization of costs for construction of checkpoints through cancelling excess requirements on designing/construction/reconstruction/equipment of checkpoints, etc.

“The decision will contribute to improvement of the investment climate in Russia,” the document says.
