MOL to implement GRR to all kinds of cargo from Asia to East Coast South America

In order to recover rates to sustainable service level, MOL will implement General Rate Restoration (GRR) to all kinds of cargo moving from Asia to East Coast South America with effective from 1/January and 15/January, 2016, the company said in its press release.
Details are as follows:
From: Asia (including Indian Sub-Continent)
To: East Coast South America
Quantum: USD350/700 per 20’/40’ Dry, USD700 per 40’RAD (NOR) containers
Effective Date: 1/January, 2016 (B/L on-board date basis)
Quantum: USD750/1500 per 20’/40’ Dry, USD1500 per 40’RAD (NOR) containers
Effective Date: 15/January, 2016 (B/L on-board date basis)
