Bulk Carrier Georg Oldendorff (owned by Oldendorff Carriers, homeport Madeira Portugal) has moored at the berths of Murmansk Commercial Seaport PJSC. According to the Company’s press center, the ship will be loaded with 55,000 t of coal for one of European plants.

The ship built in 2015 is 230 meters long, 32 meters wide and has a deadweight of 80,000 t.

Coal produced in Kemerovo Region is delivered to Murmansk by railway, which is an optimal route in terms of logistics.

Murmansk Commercial Seaport is supposed to ship metallurgical coal at least once a month.

Murmansk Commercial Seaport was founded in 1994. MMTP operates 17 berths of total length of about 3 km. The waters depths allow the port to accommodate vessels with draft of 15.5 m and length of more than 265 m.
