Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg expects 260 calls in 2017, up 20%, y-o-y

According to the schedule for the navigation season of 2017 based on cruise lines’ requests, Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg «Marine Façade» is going to see a 20-pct growth of calls (42 ships), IAA PortNews cites Aleksei Panfilov, Commercial Director of «Marine Façade» PLC.

260 calls are expected in 2017.

Earlier statements said that Marine Façade was going to see 218 calls of vessels with over 460,000 passengers in 2016. 

Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg «Marine Façade» PLC is in the ownership of the city of St. Petersburg and is the largest passenger seaport in Russia. Construction of Marine Façade began in 2006 and was completed in 2011. The port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships of up to 330 m long and with a draft of up to 8.8 m. The length and depth of new access channels - 10 km and 11 m, accordingly. The port operates seven piers. The quay-side length – 2,171.06 m.
