Hapag-Lloyd implements General Rate Increase from Far East Eastbound - North Continent and Mediterranean to Indian Subcontinent and Middle East

With effect from June 1, 2016 Hapag-Lloyd will implement a General Rate Increase for all cargoes and all container types on the Far East eastbound trade by USD 150 per container.

Foregoing is applicable for all shipments from North Europe and Mediterranean to all Indian Subcontinent and Middle East destinations.

North Europe comprises North West Continent, the U.K., Scandinavia, Baltic and European ports of Russia.

Mediterranean comprises the West Mediterranean, East Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Africa.

Indian Subcontinent comprises the West Coast ports of India (Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Delhi) and all inland container depot (ICD) locations moving via the ports of Nhava Sheva, Mundra, East and South Coast India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Middle East comprises Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
