In January-April 2016, the port of Primorsk handled 21,372,200 t of cargo (+8%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, oil transshipment climbed 8% to 16,245,400 t.
Transshipment of oil products increased by 5%, year-on-year, to 5,126,900 t.
Port Primorsk is Russia’s largest oil port in the Baltic Sea. It is the final stage of the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS).
