Container terminal at the port of Gothenburg starting Tuesday May 24 at 16:00

APM Terminals Gothenburg, the operator of the Port of Gothenburg container terminal, and the Dockworker’s union Hamn 4 met on Monday 23th of May to continue the discussions from last week – without reaching an agreement. The Port Authority says this means that the union’s 24 hours strike will start at 16:00 on Tuesday. Already at 07:00 an overtime ban starts which will continue 8 hours after the strike ends on Wednesday 16:00.

The parties intend to resume the mediation when the business is operational again without major disruptions. When the next negotiation will follow is not yet decided.
