Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg welcomed 12 cruise ships last week (photo)

Between 4-10 of July Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg received 12 cruise ships which brought 39,157 passengers. The total berth time of the ships is 32 ship-days, total amount of passenger operations – 133,927.

Services provided to ships:

Fresh water bunkering – 4 027  m3
Garbage collection – 214 m3
Waste-waters reception – 2 602 m3

In the indicated period 3 helicopters have used the helipad of Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg for landing and take-off.

On July 7th, cruise ship Monarch operated by Pullmantur made its Inaugural call to Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg.

On July 7th the Council of Her Majesty, Head of Consular Service in the Russian Federation Thomas Christopher Regan and representatives of the Consulate General of Great Britain made an official visit to the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg.
During the visit the parties discussed security and the topical issues of processing of cruise tourists arriving in St. Petersburg.

This week's highest quantity of ships in Port was 6, on July 9th.

Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg «Marine Façade» PLC is in the ownership of the city of St. Petersburg and is the largest passenger seaport in Russia. Construction of Marine Façade began in 2006. The port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships of up to 330 m long and with a draft of up to 8.8 m. The length and depth of new access channels - 10 km and 11 m, accordingly. The port operates seven piers. The quay-side length – 2,171.06 m.
