MOL announces the enhancement of Europe-South Africa (SRX) service. By splitting the Rotterdam call over an import and an export call MOL will be able to cut its transit time from Rotterdam to South Africa by no less than 6 days. Furthermore the split call will result in an earlier arrival at London Gateway to allow critical perishable cargo to arrive in retail stores for the weekend.
The first SB sailing (M/S DAL Karoo Voy.167A) of the enhanced SRX service will depart on September 27, 2016 from Rotterdam. The first Northbound sailing (M/S DAL Karoo v.166B) will be the arriving in Rotterdam on September 21, 2016.
The SRX service will be upgraded as follows:
