A construction tug and barge, involved in a grounding incident at the Port of Port Hedland, have both now been refloated, the company said in its press release.
The vessels were refloated at high tide at 11.30am (AWST), and are currently secure at the Hunt Point tug haven construction area.
There were no reported injuries or environmental impacts arising from the refloat operation.
The shipping channel remains clear for vessels arriving and departing the inner harbour. The first outbound cape size vessel departed the port at 11.15am.
An investigation into the cause of the incident and any potential procedural improvements will be undertaken in the coming days.
