Tallink says it set new passenger volume` records on two routes in September. On Finland-Estonia route the company transported altogether 386 138 passengers in September, which is 10.7 percent more than last year. The number of passengers on Sweden-Estonia route increased by 6.3 percent to 73 913. On Finland-Sweden routes the passenger volumes increase as well significantly by 14.7 percent to 204 546 and on Latvia-Sweden route by 13.5 percent to 40 438. The passenger volumes increased on all routes also in frames of third quarter results.
The number of transported cargo units increase by 8.8 percent to 30 560 units in September and by 6.7 percent to 81 170 units in the third quarter. The number of passenger vehicles grew by 8.5 percent to 93 678 vehicles in September and by 6.2 percent to 380 343 vehicles in the third quarter.
