In January-September 2016, the port of Vyborg handled 957,700 t of cargo (-15%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 6% to 813,200 t including 404,100 t of mineral fertilizers (-14%) and 381,800 t of coal and coke (+6%).
Transshipment of dry loose cargo plunged by 81% to 25,100 t, liquid bulk cargo – down 16% to 33,500 t.
Transshipment of general cargo climbed by 48% to 52,200 t with metal scrap and packaged cargo showing growth.
In 2015, the port of Vyborg handled 1.55 mln t of cargo (-8%, year-on-year).
