In January-November 2016, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 2,135,700 t of cargo, down 18.2%, year-on-year, the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog told IAA PortNews.
In the reporting period transshipment of oil products fell 2.1 times to 292,200 t, ferrous metal – 4.6 times to 80,000 t, coal – by 1% to 596,400 t. Transshipment of grain increased by 18.8% to 1,052,300 t.
Exports dropped by 23.5% to 1,496,700 t, imports – 2.2 times to 25,400 t, short-sea traffic – up 2.8% to 611,400 t.
In January-November, the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog registered 584 arrivals and 575 departures against 868 arrivals and 869 departures in the same period of 2015.
