Mikkjal Poulsen has been appointed the Chairman of the Management Board of “LSC Shipmanagement” Ltd (LSCSM) as of 16th December 2016 on the imminent retirement of Alastair McKee, VN Group says in a press release.
Mikkjal Poulsen has over 25 years of experience in the shipping industry with more than 10 years spent at sea. The past two years he has been in South Korea as the regional manager of “MHWirth” participating in developing various projects and building the company’s reputation and cooperation with customers and other stakeholders. Previously Mikkjal has worked for “Thome Ship Management Thailand Co. Ltd”, “Tolani Singapore Pte. Ltd”, “Torm Singapore Pte. Ltd”, and “Torm Denmark”.
The new Chairman will continue the successful operational orientation of LSCSM. “High service quality and operational safety’, are the core values which when combined with competitive pricing should ensure successful technical management and crewing of our vessels under management. The former Board Chairman of LSCSM Alastair McKee joined SIA “LSC Shipmanagement” on 20 June 2011 as Managing Director, he became a Member of the Management Board on 15 September 2011 and Chairman of the Management Board in March 2014.
