In January 2017, seaports of Russia handled 59.63 mln t of cargo (+12.7%, year-on-year. Transshipment of dry cargo totaled 24.96 mln t (+15 %), liquid bulk cargo - 34.66 mln t (+11 %), says Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
Seaports of the Arctic Basin handled 4.12 mln t (+44.3%) including 1.6 mln t of dry cargo (- 12.8%) and 2.52 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+ 147 %).
Seaports of the Baltic Basin handled 20.61 mln t (+ 12.2%) including 7.28 mln t of dry cargo (+18%) and 13.32 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+ 9%).
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin handled 19.66 mln t (+ 12.2 %) including 7.64 mln t of dry cargo (+ 22%) and 12.02 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+7%).
Seaports of the Caspian Basin handled 0.29 mln t (-50.9 %) including 0.21 mln t of dry cargo (- 23.1%) and 0.07 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (- 76.4%).
Seaports of the Far East Basin handled 14.93 mln t (+ 10.2%) including 8.2 mln t of dry cargo (+ 15%) and 6.72 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+5%).
