Throughput of Kaliningrad Sea Commercial Port in January 2017 up 1.5 times Y-o-Y to 314,800 t

In January 2017, Kaliningrad Sea Commercial Port handled 314,800 t, which is 1.5 times up, year-on-year, the stevedoring company says.

In the reporting period, transshipment general cargo totaled 71,200 t including 61,000 t of metal, 196,000 t of dry bulk cargo, 15,900 t of liquid bulk cargo and 1,500 t of other cargo.

The port’s container throughput totaled 3,201 TEUs. 

Kaliningrad Sea Commercial Port OJSC is the largest enterprise of the regional port complex. Practically all means of transport and the basic part of the export-import freight traffic passing through the region, close in the port. In 2016, the port’s throughput totaled 2.864 mln t.
