Panasia has fitted 770 vessels with ballast water treatment systems, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Yevgeny Belyanin, Sales Manager, BLRT GRUPP AS, as saying at the conference "Implementation of the BWMC in Russia” organized by Media Group PortNews with the assistance of the Russian Ministry of Transport.
According to Yevgeny Belyanin, the equipment has all the required certificates including those by classification societies. Among them is the certificate of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS).
Yevgeny Belyanin emphasized the applicability of Panasia BWTS to vessels of any type and tonnage. There are different variants when it comes to the location of the system and its components. It can be placed both in engine room and in a special module on the open deck. Yevgeny Belyanin says the system is easy to operate and features low maintenance.
“The competence accumulated by the company lets us offer the ship owners the most profitable option of BWTS installation”, assures Yevgeny Belyanin.
