In January-February 2017, the port of Primorsk handled 10,932,600 t of cargo (+6%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, crude oil transshipment climbed by 9% to 8,391,800 t.
Transshipment of oil products declined by 4%, year-on-year, to 2,540,420 t.
Port Primorsk is Russia’s largest oil port in the Baltic Sea. It is the final stage of the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS).
