As a further step towards the modernization of equipment, the Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC (MRC, a company of UCL Holding) purchased two material handling machines LIEBHERR A 934 C with 2.5 m3 grab each. The company says it is going to use the machines for handling of its core cargo – the exported coal.
The machines with 16.5 boom outreach are capable of handling up to 250 tonnes of material per hour. The equipment is classified as per EURO-3 emission standard. To ensure the highest level of safety of cargo handling operations, LIEBHERR A 934 C machines have rear view cameras installed.
New machines will improve the intensity of MRC’s handling of coal-loaded open-top railcars. It is expected that new machines will be put into operation this month after proper registration with the Russian State Technical Authority. Currently, the company is training its employees to work with new equipment.
